German Pancake (aka Panekuken)

When my sister was in middle school, she learned how to make a great Panekuken. This recipe is so quick and easy, and it's a family favorite!

Panekuken - Little Laura

1 - 2 T butter
1/2 C flour
1/2 C milk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Heat oven to 450 degrees. Place butter in an 8 inch pie plate and melt butter in the oven.

Meanwhile, combine flour, milk, eggs and vanilla in a bowl. Mix with a whisk until combined.

When butter is melted, remove pan from the oven and pour the flour mixture into the hot pan. Sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake at 450 degrees for about 15 minutes, or until Panekuken is golden brown. Cut and serve with fruit or syrup.
